The ability to read and comprehend is highly correlated with academic success. Students who enjoy reading have a natural school advantage over students who find books unenjoyable or tedious. People often think that reading is related to motivation, that when a student “likes to read,” he will. Neuroscientists now understand the ability to enjoy reading is not a desire, but a skill. Indeed, the ability to read and enjoy reading is one of the most complex skills we can learn in our lifetime!

Gain the latest insights on how the reading brain develops, and the relationship between language development and reading abilities. Learn strategies to help your learners develop strong brain foundations for solid reading and comprehension skills.

Attend this webinar to:

  • Learn about the reading brain and the important relationship between the language and the reading brain.
  • Uncover why some people are book lovers while others cringe at the need to read.
  • Take home research-based strategies to help your learners build a strong reading brain
  • Find out the latest technological tools parents and teachers can use including the ability for each student to have a personalised reading “coach” at home, especially useful during this period of distance learning
