If you do an internet search on the term “learning styles”, you will find a plethora of information on how best to tailor education and strategies to the different styles of learners. You may read about 4 and up to 7 styles described, with the VARK model (Visual – Auditory – Reading/ Writing – Kinaesthetic) likely being the most prominent.
At the same time, you may do a search on “learning styles myth” and you will see an equal number of articles on the controversy surrounding the concept of learning styles.
