Wells International School, in collaboration with Scientific Learning Corporation, is offering in-schedule and after-school intensive English language, programs called Fast ForWord to primary and secondary students.
The courses are aimed at students in Thai schools who are especially keen to quickly improve their knowledge of English.
What is nanotechnology?

Prof.joe Shapter from Flinders University, South Australia, will be giving a lecture on “what is nanotechnology?” as one of the activities included in a science exhibition organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Nanotechnology is an important and is increasingly becoming an everyday part of human life. The lecture, which will explain the intricacies of nanotechnology, will be delivered in a style that the public can comprehend easily. It will also provide general knowledge on, and the potential uses of the technology.

Prospective students and their parents are invited to attend a series of seminars and presentations on studying in Canada (the presentation will be in Thai) held one day each, in Phuket, Bangkok and Chiang Mai, at the following venues.
Aug 16, from 12.30pm to 4pm at the Phuket ICT Skill Development and Learning Centre.
Aug 22, from 12.30pm to 4pm at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square (BTS Siam Square station)

A new series of talks for the international community in Bangkok delves into some of the more involved ideas of Buddhism over the next two months.
Entitled “The Way of Wisdom” the series of eight talks held each Thursday will couple detailed topics relating to Buddhism with meditation sessions.
Attendance if free and no prior background in Buddhism is needed – all are welcome.
